A pipe bend is a bend in the direction of a pipe, and the minimum bend radius is usually 1.5 times the pipe radius (R). Bends usually flow more smoothly, the inner surface of the pipe is more regular, and the flow doesn't have to change direction suddenly.

 

45° LR (Long Radius) tube bends have a Center-to-Face dimension of 1.5 X diameter. They are the most common type of elbow and are used when space is available and flow is more critical. During the production process of cold-bent pipes, a CNC pipe bending machine can be used to bend the straight pipes into curved pipes at one time.

 

The tube bend is usually made of 304-grade stainless steel, which contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It is resistant to high temperatures of 800℃ and has the characteristics of good processing performance, high toughness, and corrosion resistance.
