A bent pipe is a pipe fitting installed between two sections of pipe or tubing to allow for a change of direction. It is able to reduce pipeline pressure changes while still moving material through complex piping systems. Short-radius tubes are bent by a set of bending equipment, usually using two processes: cold bending and hot pushing.
