Weld neck flanges are a popular flange type. Including a long cone hub and a rim with numerous holes, it helps to reinforce and provide temperature /pressure resistance and easy to connect the flange to the bolt flange.
The tapered hub is a significant feature of welding neck flange. The neck stretch and the end have welds. Flange can directly weld the pipeline to provide high and relatively natural forms. This type of connection provides a gradual distribution of pressure forces of the transition along the stainless tubing to the bottom of the flange, which helps to withstand some impacts used in higher-pressure and higher-temperature working environments.
These types of flanges are often used in high-pressure pipes or those that need the pressure to be distributed at the connection so that it does not bust or compromise the seam. They can be widely used in key areas such as oil, natural gas, and petrochemical industry.
