Stainless Steel 90° long radius tube Bends are made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance. They are custom-manufactured using a CNC mandrel bending process that allows for a smooth, unrestricted flow of fluid.
To maintain a certain level of quality and consistency, the stainless steel tubes are stretch-bent and have extended legs. This way of bending ensures that each end of the bend is rounded and accurate. The extended legs maintain the tube's original roundness and exact 45 or 90-degree radius.
Long radius tube bends can be MIG welded and then finely machined and polished by TIG for a seamless look and reduced friction against the fluid. When a pipe suddenly changes direction, it causes a loss of pressure within the pipe. A Stainless Steel 90° long radius tube bend is designed to minimize the pressure loss of friction fluid. There is enough space and volume to allow for wider turns and produce less pressure loss.
