A pipe tee is used to combine or divide fluid flow. It can connect pipes of different diameters change the direction of a pipe run, or be used to transport two-fluid mixtures.
There are many kinds of pipe tee according to different ways
Material: Stainless steel pipe tee, carbon steel pipe tees, cast iron pipe tees, nickel pipe tees, etc.

Connection Method: Socket welded tees, threaded tees, butt welding tees, flanged tees.
Pipe tees may be equal or unequal in size to their three connections, with equal tees being the most common. Equal pipe tee means the branch diameter of this tee is the same as the main pipe diameter of this tee.
The equal tees have a strong opening. They have beveled ends that, when flush the pipe, create a trough for a strong weld that permits maximum flow.
Connected by the butt welding process. It can withstand higher pressure than other types. Butt weld equal tee is widely used in petroleum, aerospace pharmacy, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, military industry, engineering support and other industrial pipelines, etc.
