Stainless steel is widely used due to its high corrosion resistance and decorative properties, especially in medical equipment, food industry equipment, tableware, kitchen utensils, etc.

Stainless steel utensils should be corrosion-resistant, bright in appearance, and clean and hygienic, and the surface of the utensils should not be attached to substances that are toxic to the human body. Therefore, the surface treatment requirements for the production of such utensils are to completely remove harmful substances on the surface.

During the processing of stainless steel mechanical polishing tubes, the polishing wheel or polishing belt uses the abrasive in the polishing agent to grind and polish the surface of the stainless steel tube, so that the surface of the stainless steel tube achieves a smooth polishing effect. Its brightness depends on the type of processing technology. In addition, although mechanical polishing is more beautiful, it will also reduce corrosion resistance. Therefore, when used in a corrosive environment, passivation treatment is required, and there will often be polishing material residue on the surface of the stainless steel tube.

The materials required for the processing of stainless steel mechanical polishing tubes are generally: "polishing wax, hemp wheel, nylon wheel, cloth wheel, wind wheel, wire cloth wheel" and so on.

Precautions：

(1) Grinding with sandpaper or sanding belts in the grinding operation is basically a polishing and cutting operation, leaving very fine lines on the surface of the steel plate.

(2) Any grinding parts of the equipment, such as abrasive belts and grinding wheels, must not be used on other non-stainless steel materials before use, as this will contaminate the stainless steel surface.

(3) In order to ensure the consistency of surface processing, new grinding wheels or abrasive belts should first be tested on waste materials with the same composition so that they can be compared with the same samples.
